Our Charcoal

Did you ever wonder if we can ever talk about quality for charcoal? Oh yes, big percentage of air pollution these days can be caused by charcoal burning. Have you ever thought of your health, when wanting to burn your turkey on barbecue every weekend? It’s not your fault anyway if you don’t know about all that. In fact the quality of the charcoal will depend on the material used to produce it and the manner within which it is processed. Do you know that a tree or the wood that is not consumable is not meant to be use to produce charcoal, as this may represent a danger for the end users? None of our charcoal farm would use chemical based products to produce charcoal. Whereas many colliers will use Sugarcane, bone char vegetable or even animal in base of their charcoal, we

endeavour and encourage our producers to use some selected pure woods to produce the charcoal. These selected woods in the operation are burn at very high temperature, over 300° leaving the Charcoal brown and black, soft and friable, and readily inflames at 400°. This solution leaves the end products with 100% carbon with no volatile chemical that may constitute pollution as a draw back to the society.

The charcoal bag is well sealed to avoid air to easily penetrate the bag and weaking the heating temperature of the charcoal for end users. We tend to package the end charcoal so our retailers don’t have any extra job to do when reselling.
